Detailed Design, Drawing & Estimate & Construction Supervision of Sainjani Barrage.

Services Provided – The project envisaged providing detailed design, drawings and estimate for construction of proposed Sainjani Barrage on river Sainjani including providing technical consultancy, necessary drawings and construction supervision etc. from start of work till completion of the work, in District Rampur, U.P.

Brief Description: – River Sainjani originates from Haripura Reservoir Uttarakhand & after passing through Bilaspur Tehsil it joins river Bhakra in Rampur District. A barrage across river Sainjani is proposed near Bilaspur Town in Rampur District. There was a weir across river Sainjani constructed in 1881 near Bilaspur. Two Canals i.e. one at each bank was taken off from upstream of the weir & these were irrigating a large area (about 8000 acres) of Bilaspur Tehsil. In 1988, during a high flood, the weir was washed out and canal system become inoperative after damage to the weir. Irrigation department Uttar Pradesh decided to reconstruct a barrage to give a permanent solution to survive the canal functioning.
